1.Get referrals from friends and family members

2. Ask your family practice doctor for a recommendation, they usually have good contact in the dentistry field as well

3. Talk to a school nurse and get a referral, they usually deal with lots of doctor and dental issues with all the kids, and usually are a good source for referrals

4. Make an appointment for the dentist closest to your work place, and see what the quality of service is you received on your first visit.

• Did they make a follow up call after your visit
• Did they do x-rays and was the dentist able to give you the results while you were there
• Was the waiting room filled with patients, and were some of the same patients still waiting when you left.
• Was the dentist hurried during your cleaning, or did they have time to chat and get to know  you personally?
• Did things seem sterile, were rubber gloves used, masks, aprons, etc.

These might seem very general suggestions, and do not take the actual skill or experience level into account for the individual or the business, but it will help you make some general decisions
